Anushka Shetty will be seen playing a cameo in Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. After Baahubali, this will be the actor’s second Telegu film and that too a mega-budget one. While shooting for a crucial scene in the film, Anushka met with an accident and fractured her leg. She didn’t want the news to spread, and has been advised bed rest for a few days. Reports say that the actor will resume shooting soon.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is being directed by Surender Reddy and is being shot on a large scale. Produced by Ram Charan, the film is based on the life of Andhra freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who revolted against the British in 1857, and the film is near completion.
Along with Anushka Shetty, the movie’s star cast includes Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.
A year back, Amitabh Bachchan had shared his look from the film on Twitter. The actor will be sporting white hair and a long, flowing beard in the film.
The magnum opus is set to release next year as the post production work is currently underway.
