Actor Anushka Ranjan joins The Quint for the latest episode of ‘The Stars Live Here’ and talks about her initial days in the industry, why she chose a particular colour palette for her home, what surprised her about the film industry and more.
Talking about her initial days in the film industry, Ranjan says, “I feel like those days were full of optimism, energy and excitement because I didn’t know what’s going to happen next. Everything seemed exciting. I gave an audition and I came back excited. I got a callback, I got excited. Initially this process was fun but as I got more into it, it became more real. It took away from the childishness and the excitement.”
Actors Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal tied the knot in November 2021. When asked about how the couple met, Ranjan says,
“Aditya (Seal) and I met at the Beti Fashion Show which was held by my mother for her NGO Beti. And as luck would have it, one of my friends connected with Aditya and asked him, ‘Would you like to walk?’ And he agreed. He didn’t know who he was agreeing to, what he was agreeing for, he just rocked up. I had recently seen him on social media and I had a slight crush on him and when I say him I said, ‘This is your time to shine. You make sure to talk to him, you make sure to get his number. You make sure to hang out!’ And we keep talking about it – if we didn’t meet that one day, we would’ve never met in our lives.”Anushka Ranjan to The Quint
