Ananya Pandey, who makes her debut in the Student of the Year 2, the sequel to Karan Johar’s 2012 film drove a car for one of the scenes during the filming. She reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a tree. Pandey fortunately survived the accident, unhurt.
Directed by Punit Malhotra, the film stars Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. The first instalment by Kjo launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidhartha Malhotra. The shoot of the sequel is currently underway in the shoot in Dehradun and Mussoorie.
After wrapping up the Mussoorie schedule the crew will reportedly head back to Mumbai and travel to Pune for another month-long schedule. Ananya Pandey’s social media account has been abuzz with photos of her accompanying Tara Sutaria from the sets.
The film is slated to release on 23 November.
