It was a star-studded affair at the News18 Reel Movie Awards 2019. While Alia Bhatt dazzled in a red saree, Gully Boy sensation Vijay Verma looked smart in a white blazer. Also present were Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and other celebrities. While Alia Bhatt has been showered with praises for Raazi, Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun has been touted as the best thriller of 2018. Shobita Dhulipala has also been lauded for her performance in Made in Heaven, released this year.
Raazi led the pack with 13 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director for Meghna Gulzar and Best Actor (Female) for Alia Bhatt. Also nominated in the Best Film category Badhaai Ho, Tumbadd and Andhadhun.
