Alia Bhatt takes us through her behind-the-scenes look at IIFA Awards.

From moving into her new house to the Kenya safari, Alia Bhatt’s vlogs have something new to offer. This time, it’s the behind-the-scenes clip of her look in IIFA Awards. The video starts with Alia introducing her team, celebrity makeup artiste Puneet B Saini, her assistant Fauri and hair stylist Yianni. “Since the look is for an award function, it has to be more elaborate,” Alia says. She then points out to two dresses by designer Georges Chakra, one pink and the other nude. Everyone unanimously votes for the latter, and thus begins the elaborate styling process.

As she sits down for her makeup, Alia reveals that one of the things she loves to do during this time is indulge in gossip. Then, Puneet explains the reason they chose a warmer skin tone. “I wanted the skin to look like it’s sunlit. As for the eyes, we are going to go for the metallic but leaning towards the warmer palette. We are also going to go for minimal colour for the mouth so that it’s highlighted but not too separate from the entire look,” Puneet adds.

There’s also a long session wherein Yianni explains the hairdo, which comprises two braids. Finally, Alia gets ready for the photoshoots.

Alia bagged the award for Performance in a Leading Role (Female). On the work front, the actor is quite busy with a lot of projects. Currently, she is shooting Saadak 2, directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt and co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur. She has already shot extensively with Ranbir Kapoor for the Ayan Mukerji-directorial Brahmastra. Alia will also start preparing for Karan Johar’s Takht.
