Alia Bhatt has been having an amazing year. She recently wrapped up the Hyderabad schedule of Abhishek Varman’s Kalank with Varun Dhawan and immediately took a flight out of the city. While it was speculated earlier that she was heading to New York to celebrate New Year’s with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, we now have proof that Raazi star has reached The Big Apple already.

On 31 December Alia shared a picture on Instagram posing with her friend and marking the location as New York. She wrote with the photo, “My dearest one @meghnagoyal1.”

Recently Alia had also shared an emotional message bidding goodbye to 2018 where she wrote, “And with that I’ve wrapped the year too.. This past year has been the most challenging phase in my life. It was all work work work. At one point I thought I wouldn’t be able to do it anymore. But my love (love for the movies) kept me going and I cherish every moment of it. I’ve learnt soo much…and now I can’t believe it holiday time…That said…It’s just the beginning gearing up for 2019…”

Meanwhile Ranbir is in New York tending to his father Rishi Kapoor who is undergoing treatment there. Alia had visited them earlier as well.
