‘Sky Force’ actors Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya joined The Quint in front of a live audience to talk about their film, the meaning of patriotism, and more.
“You'll know what patriotism means when you watch this film,especially through Veer Pahariya’s character,” Kumar said, “His character has a streak of madness of loving your country more than your family, more than anything in the world. You'll find that especially in people in uniform.”
Pahariya adds that every citizen can contribute and give back to the nation ‘in a small or big way’.
Akshay Kumar recalled the stunt he found most challenging to do and said, “There's a stunt I did where I had to jump from the seventh floor of the building to the fourth floor of a different building. That was the movie ‘Angaaray’. Even my director, Mahesh Bhatt, ran away.”
As part of preparation for the film, Pahariya trained in flight simulators, “I got to experience the G-force because a lot of the acting in this film is just from the eyes and you have to experience the G-Force. They had world class simulators and the acting was more authentic.”
