Homeland Star Claire Danes Lights Up the 2016 Met Gala, Literally!

Claire Danes lit up the MET Gala night quite literally with her ‘glow in the dar’ Zach Posen gown

Homeland star Claire Danes undoubtedly stole the show at the 2016 MET Gala. While other celebrities went for some rather shockingly metallic and exposing ensembles, Claire chose to come dressed as Cinderella in a ‘glow in the dark’ dress.

And just when we thought that she didn’t fit the gala’s ‘Fashion and Technology’ theme this year, Claire’s dress lit up and had everyone in awe.

When the actress entered the gala her Zach Posen gown lit up and all jaws in the room fell to the ground.

Posen sourced the fiber optic woven organza material for this dress all the way from France. The dress had 30 mini battery packs sewn into its understructure. Fashion critics at the event were bowled over and the internet was reminded of Disney’s most iconic princess, Cinderella.
