They had announced a new film together a few days back. And now director Vishal Bhardwaj has shared on Twitter that he, actor Deepika Padukone and the producers have decided to wait for Irrfan Khan to return after his treatment and that the shoot has been rescheduled.
He wrote: “Irrfan is a warrior and we know he will conquer this battle. Therefore @deepikapadukone, Prernaa @kriarj and I have decided to reschedule our film and start with renewed energy and celebration when our warrior returns as a winner.”
Last week, Irrfan Khan shared that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour and that he is going abroad for his treatment.
