Dharma Productions’ next film, Student of the Year 2, has been generating loads of chatter on social media for its fantastical and over-the-top portrayal of college life.
In the second episode of our weekly entertainment podcast, Reel Deal, we invite real-life students, who are the target audience for the Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey-starrer, to share their views on everything - from Tiger Shroff’s stunts and abs show on campus to the lyrics of the song Mumbai Dilli Di Kudiyaan.
SOTY 2 follows the tropes of the earlier film, wherein students engage in a heated contest at the annual college championship and vie for the ‘Student of the Year’ title. And yes, there’s the love triangle too!

From the trailer and the three tracks - The Jawaani Song, Hook Up Song and Mumbai Dilli Di Kudiyaan, that have been released so far, it looks like Tiger has managed to set several world records at Saint Teresa College (the imaginary college where the protagonists study).
Here they are:
1) Tiger has set the record for the highest number of bare-chested appearances on campus.
2) Our man has also performed the most number of flips and air kicks by any college student ever.
3) Also, he is the only player to have done a back flip in a kabaddi match!
4) Tiger is also the only one who literally got kicked out of college. If you've watched the trailer you'd know what we are talking about.
5) Last, but not the least, he is also the only student to have kissed two girls mid-air in a span of 10 seconds.
