‘Sonchiriya’ Teaser Promises a Gritty, Gripping Dacoit Drama

Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar light up the screen.

The teaser of one of the most awaited films of 2019, Sonchiriya, is out. The Abhishek Chaubey film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana among others.

The gritty dacoit drama by the Udta Punjab director is set in Chambal. Opening with a graphic visual, the teaser shows Manoj Bajpayee leading a team of dacoits announcing their arrival in a village. He is subtle and menacing as only he can be. Cut to a rapid succession of the other dakoos and Bhumi, who seems to be playing a young mother. This one promises a lot of gripping action for sure.
