Sonali Bendre Shares an Emotional Message On Her Son’s Birthday

Sonali Bendre is currently in the US for her cancer treatment.

Sonali Bendre, who is currently undergoing treatment for metastatic cancer in the US, posted an emotional message on Instagram for her son Ranveer’s 13th birthday. The actor shared the message along with a short video clip of photographs of her with Ranveer through the years.

This is Ranveer’s first birthday where he won’t be with his mom Sonali. Here’s what the actor’s message on social media said:

“Ranveeeeer! My sun, my moon, my stars, my sky... Okay, maybe I’m being a bit melodramatic, but your 13th birthday deserves this. Wow, you’re a teenager now... Will need some time to wrap my head around that fact. I can’t tell you enough how proud I am of you... Your wit, your humour, your strength, your kindness, and even your mischief. Happy happy birthday, my not-so-little one. It’s the first one that we’re not together... I miss you terribly. Lots and lots of love always and forever.... biiiiig hug!”

Sonali had earlier posted a photograph on Friendship Day after shaving her head while posing with good friends Gayatri Oberoi and Suzzane Khan.
