The makers of Marjaavaan have released the first look posters of the film and it shows Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh pitted against each other. The film also stars Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet, and is directed by Milap Zaveri.

The first poster released by Sidharth, shows Riteish as a vertically challenged villain walking with a gun in his hand. The posters show a tall structure of Raavan in the backdrop. Posting the picture, Sidharth wrote, “Har cheez ki height bataane ka bahut shauk hai na tujhe. Aaj tujhe pata chalega BADLE ki height kya hoti hai. #Marjaavaan releasing on 22nd November 2019.”

Another poster shows the two actors looking angrily at each other, reminding us instantly of Ek Villain. “Teri jaan ukhaadoonga jadh se. Tere teen foot ke kadh se,” wrote Sidharth.

The third poster of the film has Sidharth in a similar look like Riteish, walking with a gun in hand with a structure of Raavan in the background.

The release date of Marjaavaan was shifted from 2 October to 22 November, to avoid clash with Hrithik Roshan - Tiger Shroff starrer War. Being high on VFX, the film had a rigorous shooting process. Explaining the same, Milap said, “We had to plan every shot of Riteish's months in advance with storyboards. Each shot needed five different layers. So in effect, we had to film each shot five times! The process was time-consuming, but exciting. For lots of shots, Riteish had to walk on his knees! He was terrific and supported me all the way.”
