The 2018 Lux Golden Rose Awards took place on Sunday, 18th November with all of B-town celebrities coming out in support for the United Nation’s #HeForShe movement. These celebrities dressed to impress as they honoured the women of the industry over the years.
The Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan hosted the event and presented Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with the ‘Timeless Beauty’ award. Aishwarya accepted her award with utmost grace and compassion as she thanked her co-stars, directors and her family, who have constantly supported her through the years. She also thanked her contemporaries and veterans namely, Hema Malini, Rekha, Zeenat Aman, Madhuri Dixit and Kajol.

SRK, being his witty self, poked fun at Aishwarya as he recalled their days of working together in Devdas and Mohabbatein. As always, a laughter riot followed, when SRK continued to thank Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar, his contemporaries just as Aishwarya did.
The King Khan also mentioned that they two are still close and keep bumping into each other in their children’s school. He also confessed that his son, AbRam is convinced that Amitabh Bachchan is his grandfather considering the number of films Big B has played SRK’s father in.
