Aamir Khan continues to spread his magic with his performances in China. His game in China is going strong with the release of Secret Superstar in the country. Despite just a cameo by Aamir in the movie, the movie has reportedly crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within two days of its release.
Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh said Secret Superstar is doing even better than Dangal which earned 200 million dollars at the box-office in China.
According to Adarsh, the Zaira Wasim and Aamir Khan starrer earned Rs 43.35 crore on day one at the box office.
It looks like the Chinese audience is loving and supporting the message of women empowerment in the film and are appreciating Zaira Wasim as well. The direction of Advait Chauhan and acting talent of Meher Vij as the mother of the protagonist is also being appreciated.
Secret Superstar scored big at Filmfare Awards 2018 as Zaira Wasim won the Best Actress (Critics) for her performance; Meher Vij, who played the role of the mother, took away the Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Meghna Mishra also got the award for Best Singer (Female) for her song, Nachdi Phira.
