According to a report, Randeep Hooda and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be collaborating on a project in the near future. The film will be set in a small Indian town and is expected to be a mystery thriller. The film will be directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua who has previously worked on Anil & Arjun Kapoor-starrer Mubarakan. This untitled project by SLB will mark Janjua’s directorial debut. Janjua is also working on upcoming Saand ki Aankh starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar.
The untitled film be the first of its kind to experiment within the genre of thrillers as the film is supposedly a mystery thriller with comic undertones. While that does sound exciting and a little unprecedented for Bollywood, we’ll have to wait and watch how it actually turns out.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Inshallah will feature Alia Bhatt opposite Salman Khan on screen. On the other hand, Randeep Hooda, who is known for his exceptional performance in films like Sarbjt and Highway, will appear in the sequel of Love Aaj Kal being directed by Imtiaz Ali.
