Saif Ali Khan has launched his own banner, Black Knight Films and has signed his first deal as a producer with Nitin Kakkar for Jawani Janeman. The Sacred Games star earlier helmed Illuminati Films with Dinesh Vijan, while now he seems eager to fly solo.
Saif’s Black Knight Films would be joining hands with Jay Shewakramani’s Northern Lights Films for Jawani Jaaneman. Director Nitin Kakkar has previously directed Filmistaan and Mitron.
Jawani Janeman is touted to be a family comedy revolving around the relationship of a 40-year-old and his daughter. While Saif plays the role of the father, the actor in the role of his daughter is yet to be locked. The film is scheduled to go on floors in 2019.
