Director Rohit Shetty is all set for the release of the action-packed Simmba, which stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan and will hit theatres on 28 December.
Actors from Shetty’s popular comedy franchise Golmaal, such as Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Shreyas Talpade, make a special appearance in the song ‘Aankh Marey’ from the film. At a recent event to promote the film, he revealed a possible connection between the Simmba and Golmaal. DNA quoted him as saying:

While he has confirmed that a fifth instalment in the Golmaal franchise is in the works, Rohit Shetty says that they have not confirmed a date for filming yet.
