Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has been generating sufficient buzz since its trailer release on Monday. And Ranveer Singh has been receiving ample praise for his villainous avatar as the ruthless ruler he plays, Alauddin Khilji.
The actor, who is still shooting portions of Padmavati, took to Twitter to sing praises for his director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for making him a part of film. Ranveer also said that we’ve only seen a fraction of the promised magnum opus. Basically, picture abhi baaki hai doston.
Deepika Padukone, who plays the titular character of Rani Padmavati in the film, also thanked all who praised the film’s trailer.
