Out of Love, the official adaptation of an award-winning show Doctor Foster, is all set to release on Hotstar VIP. This Rasika Duggal and Purab Kohli-starrer is a story of a marriage that goes through infidelity, betrayal, and heartbreak. Exclusively from the sets of the show, Purab Kohli spoke to The Quint.
The show follows Dr. Meera Kapoor (Duggal), a doting wife and a loving mother whose perfect life is shattered when she finds out that her husband, Akarsh (Kohli), is having an affair. As the lies and betrayal come to light, both her personal and professional life get affected. This brings out the question, whether Meera will forgive and forget or will she fight? Out of Love is a modern-day drama that offers a different narrative of the aftereffects of infidelity.
Set in Coonoor, the show also stars Soni Razdan, Harsh Chhaya, Aanjjan Srivaastav and Sanghmitra Hitaishi in supporting roles. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Aijaz Khan, and produced by BBC Studios, Out of Love is slated to launch on 22nd November.
With Roar of the Lion, The Office, and many more, Out of Love is the eighth original of Hotstar this year.
