Priyanka Chopra has apologised after she was called out on social media for calling Sikkim as a state "troubled with insurgency" in an interview to ET Canada, at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Priyanka drew flak on social media for her incorrect statement. Sikkim Tourism minister Ugen Gyatso also condemned it and asked for an apology. Priyanka and her mother, Madhu Chopra have since apologised to the Tourism Minister.

Q. After the success of Airlift I thought you would choose to make an original script, but surprisingly you chose to direct the remake of a Hollywood film, why?
Raja Krishna Menon: Well, that was sort of a conundrum, I have always written original scripts and then made them. When Vikram approached me for the film, we were shooting for Airlift in Jodhpur, and he said - hey what do you think of this film Chef? And I loved the film when I saw it, it has all the elements that are important to me I guess, it has food, there is travel and then there is the father and son relationship, so I told him it’s a fantastic film and if it’s in the right hands, it will make a great film to be made in India.

Vidya Balan is back on the radio after Munna Bhai and this time she’s wearing the superwoman cape. The teaser of Tumhari Sulu is out and it gives every homemaker some seriously goofy goals. Balan turns her voice into that of a seductive woman for her late night radio show. But what does that do to everyone around her?
She looks like a regular cotton sari clad housewife, but don’t let that fool you. The comedy-drama is based on Sulochana aka Sulu, who believes that ‘sometimes you don’t need wings to fly’. Sulu brings out the naughty side of Vidya and we can’t wait to watch this film on the big screen.
