And that’s exactly the intention. The trailer of the blood-curling Pari: Not a Fairy tale is out. And it’s everything that’s been missing from the horror genre in mainstream Bollywood.
Alternating between two personas, one of which is positively horrifying, the trailer of Pari shows a woman possessed by an evil spirit.
Pari also stars Parambrata Chatterjee, who takes Anushka into her home, unknowingly invites havoc into his life. And everything that transpired after it is, anything but a fairy tale.
Pari is a joint production by Anushka and her brother’s Clean Slate Films & KriArj Entertainment. Directed by Prosit Roy, Pari releases on 2 March. Holi is not going to be pretty.
