This Independence Day, it’s raining posters, teasers and trailers. After a sneak peek of ‘Bharat’, the poster of Manikarnika, the trailers of Manto and Pataakha, here comes the new poster of JP Dutta’s Paltan.
The creative of the war movie displays troops saluting the national flag that unfurls in the background. The solidly committed soldiers are played by Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Chowdhary, Luv Sinha and Harshvardhan Rane.
The film also stars Jackie Shroff. This time, the soldiers are fighting China, not Pakistan. Paltan is based on the 1967 Sino-Indian War (between India and China).
By the look of it, Paltan will be a quintessential Dutta film: intense, action-packed and with nationalistic overtones. It will hit theatres on 7 September.
