Nawazuddin Siddiqui is making sure that he reaches out to the masses by doing films like Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and the upcoming Munna Michael. But he isn’t afraid of veering away from the mainstream to pick roles that showcase his skills as an actor thank God!
And Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is one such film. Directed by Kushan Nandy, it revolves around a small town contract killer, Babu, and his adventures. Nawaz had said in one of his interviews that he has drawn inspiration from James Bond for this character. And he infuses a rustic ruthlessness to his character like only he can.
With a brilliant opening scene, the trailer shows the actor in scintillating form as he mouths made-to-order rustic lines with elan. Divya Dutta and Bidita Bag also promise powerful characters. There seems to be a twist in the tale too.
