Vidyut Jammwal to Play Gangster's Role in Mahesh Manjrekar's 'Power'

Vidyut Jammwal was last seen in Chuck Russell’s Junglee. The film might not have worked in his favour, but the actor is already gearing up for his next film. He will be essaying the role of a gangster in Mahesh Manjrekar’s directorial venture Power. Set against the backdrop of the Mumbai underworld, the film is a tribute to the iconic Godfather.

Vidyut started shooting for the film in May last year with the leading lady Shruti Hassan and wrapped up the shoot by December. Vijay Ghelani, the producer of the film, told Mumbai Mirror that Power recounts the journey of Devi Das Thakur aka Vidyut Jammwal, who goes on to become a powerful don after taking over the reigns from his father.

First Look of Katrina's Character in 'Bharat' Revealed

Priyanka Chopra is on the cover of the Love and Wedding special issue of Vogue Netherlands in now famous bridal avatar. The photo features a close-up of Priyanka in her white wedding dress from her December 2018 marriage to Joe Jonas. Emraan Hashmi Returns to Horror Genre With 'Ezra'

After almost three years, Emraan Hashmi has signed horror film Ezra, which is the Hindi remake of a Malayalam horror film. The actor says the movie will push boundaries, and promises "one hell of a spooky ride".

Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak's Hindi remake of the Prithviraj-starrer horror film is being produced by Panorama Studios. It will be helmed by Jay Krishnan, who has directed the original Malayalam film as well.
