Karan Singh Grover Thanks ‘Kasautii’ Cast for an Amazing Farewell
Karan Singh Grover, who plays Mr Bajaj in Ekta Kapoor’s popular daily soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay, has finally exited the show. According to reports, he wasn’t happy with his role and had conveyed this to Ekta. However, Karan took to Instagram to share a photo with the entire cast on his last day. “Thank you for an awesome time and such an amazing farewell!! It was a pleasure working with ya’ll!, Karan wrote. Parth Samthaan, Sahil Anand, Erica Fernandes, Pooja Banerjee and Shubhaavi were among Karan’s co-actors who struck a pose with him.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt Head to Manali for Last Schedule of 'Brahmastra'
A film we are really looking forward to is the Ayan Mukerji-directorial Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film went on floors in Bulgaria in February this year, followed by marathon schedules in London, New York, Scotland and finally Varanasi, where all the main characters meet for the first time.
Now, according to a Mumbai Mirror report, Ranbir and Alia will fly down to Manali for the last schedule of the film, which is set for a 2020 release. “Ranbir and Alia will go to Manali in November for a 15-day shoot. Every location carried forward Shiva’s (Ranbir) character. The film’s premise takes cues from Indian mythology. In Manali, Shiva’s origin and self-discovery will be traced,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Amrish Puri's Grandson's Film Gets New Title, Release Date
Vardhan Puri, late actor Amrish Puri's grandson, is set to make his Bollywood debut with Shivaleeka Oberoi in a romantic thriller titled Yeh Saali Aashiqui, which was earlier titled Paagal. It will hit theatres in November.
Last month, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had asked the makers of the film to change its title Paagal because of the “social stigma” attached to the word.
The film was originally slated to release in July.
Produced by Jayantilal Gada of Pen Movies and Rajeev Amrish Puri, the Cherag Ruparel directorial will now release on 22 November.
Army Man Sooraj Searches for Meaning in Satellite Shankar Trailer
The trailer for Sooraj Pancholi’s upcoming film Satellite Shankar is out. The movie tells the tale of a young jawan in the Indian army who journeys across India in his quest to discover the country. Along the way, he puts his own life at risk to save his fellow countrymen from dangerous situations. In return, they come together to make sure he returns to his base camp in time.
Satellite Shankar has been directed by Irfan Kamal and features the Bollywood debut of South Indian actor Megha Akash, who plays Sooraj’s love interest in the film.
