‘Avengers: Endgame’ Beats ‘Avatar’ as Highest Earner of All Time
The inevitable has happened. Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame has taken over the crown of the highest-grossing film of all time, toppling James Cameron’s Avatar. As of Sunday 21 July, the global pop-culture sensation had earned $2,790.2 billion defeating the $2,789.7 billion record set by Avatar way back in 2009.
TV Show to Capture Delhi Police Live in Action
The Delhi Police will offer a glimpse into its day-to-day operations through a show titled Capital Police - Beyond The Khaki. The television series captures men and women in Khaki on the go, as they fight crime to maintain law and order, reports IANS.
"The aim is to give a deeper insight into the day-to-day functioning, and the various challenges confronted by our police force towards the commitment and trust people put in us," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Mandeep Singh Randhawa, explaining the intent of the show.
"It has been a fascinating experience for some of our officials, who were part of the pilot, as they have never before faced the camera. They are not actors, they are real life heroes who go about doing their duties even as the cameras were rolling," Randhawa added.
The series is scheduled to premiere on July 23.

'Super 30' Crosses Rs 100 Cr at the Box Office
Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30 has earned Rs 100.58 crore at the box office since its release on 12 July.
The film is based on real-life Maths whiz Anand Kumar, who started a special programme, christened Super 30, to help underprivileged students prepare for entrance exams for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota actor and 90s star Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani and social media star Shirley Setia have come together for Baaghi director Sabbir Khan's action film Nikamma. Jointly produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Sabbir Khan Films, the film is slated for release in the summer of 2020.
