Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor, breathed her last on Monday morning, 1 October, in Mumbai. According to reports, Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away at around 4 am, she was 87-years-old.
Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima, posted a picture of her with mom Neetu Singh and Krishna Raj Kapoor on her Instagram page with the message, “I love you, I will always love you, RIP Dadi”.
Actor Raveena Tandon and Aamir Khan tweeted their condolences to the Kapoor family.
Soha Ali Khan remembered Krishna Raj Kapoor as “an incredible personality, full of life and passion and with never a hair out of place”.
Neetu Singh Kapoor had shared this photograph of her family with Krishna Raj Kapoor in Paris earlier in July this year.
Raj Kapoor married Krishna Malhotra in 1946, they are survived by five children - three sons, actors Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv, and two daughters, Ritu Nanda and Rima Jain.
