The team of Sonakshi Sinha’s new film Khandaani Shafakhana launched a second trailer with the message ‘Baat Toh Karo’, urging people to initiate a conversation on sexuality. In the trailer, she is seen trying to manage the clinic, finances and find answers to her patients’ woes. The trailer clip follows her as she faces hurdles in doing so.
Speaking about the film director Shilpi Dasgupta said, “It was important for me to talk about the subject of sex, but I knew that it was a bitter pill and had to be laced with humour.”
Sonakshi spoke about how she was surprised to be offered the film and said,
Most people know that I do films that families can watch, so I was surprised they came to me. But when I heard the script, I felt like I had to do a film like this which was giving such an important message.Sonakshi Sinha, Actor
Singer-rapper Badshah will also be making his acting debut with the film. He said,

The first trailer of the film was dropped on 21 June and showed a gist of the problebs faced by Sonakshi’s character. The movie also stars Annu Kapoor and Priyanshu Jora. On 19 June, Sonakshi Sinha had revealed the first look of the film. “Main jitna bolungi logo ko utni hi शर्म aani hai,” she wrote as the caption for the poster on Instagram.
