The makers of the upcoming period war drama Kesari have released the first trailer for the film. Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra star in the true story of courage, bravery and valour. Akshay plays Havildar Ishar Singh who lead a batallion of Sikh soldiers from the British Indian army in the Battle of Saragarhi.

Kesari is based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against a troop of 10,000 Afghan invaders. It has been directed by Anurag Singh and jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Azure Entertainment.
The film will release on 21 March.
