1. Karan Johar Becomes a Father; Names Twins Yash & Roohi
Filmmaker Karan Johar has become a father to twins. He reportedly had the babies last month via surrogacy.
According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, the 44-year-old Johar has a girl and a boy - and has named them Roohi and Yash. Yash is his late father’s name, and Roohi is a rearrangement of his mother’s name Hiroo.
Their names were registered on Friday at the BMC. A top BMC official has confirmed the news.

Veteran actor Rekha’s personal life continues to obsess the media and the country. Suddenly a rumour about how she wears sindoor for Sanjay Dutt began going viral on the internet on Sunday. But as such things go, it was found to be false.
Yasser Usman, whose biography Rekha - The Untold Story was cited as the source of the rumour, has denied it. In an interview to Hindustan Times, Usman said that there was no basis to start such conversations.

B-town gathered to pay their last respects to Suniel Shetty’s father Veerapa Shetty on Saturday in Mumbai. The Bachchans, Akshay Kumar, Kajol and a host of other stars condoled with the clearly distraught Shetty family. Veerapa Shetty passed away at the age of 93 on March 1 after a prolonged illness.
