Actor Kangana Ranaut has now reacted to her name being dragged into the Mumbai illegal Call Detail Record (CDR) scam. According to a report, investigations had revealed that Kangana had messaged actor Hrithik Roshan’s number to her lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui, who may have sourced Hrithik’s CDR as well. The highly publicised spat between Kangana and Hrithik is well-known.
Reacting to her name being thrown up in the CDR scam case, the actor gave out this statement:
When we respond to a notice, we give all details to lawyer. To assume that these details were used to violate law & make statements based on that assumption and defame an artist is irresponsible on Abhishek Trimukhe’s part. Abhishek Trimukhe is the DCP Crime in Thane, who is investigating the CDR case, in which Kangana and Nawazuddin’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui was arrested.
