Through a video put out on Twitter on Saturday, Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt announced the date for the teaser release of her upcoming film Kalank. The video is a compilation of all the Kalank posters that have been teasing us for the past couple of days.
“Roop ki kahaani ki jhalak dekhiye #Kalank teaser ke saath. Out on Tuesday 12th March, 2019!”, wrote Alia Bhatt in the tweet.
Described as a “story of turbulent relationships and eternal love” by Karan Johar, Kalank is a period film set in the 1940s. Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank features an ensemble cast of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Aditya Roy Kapur.
Slated to release on 17 April 2019, the film’s posters have been all over social media for the past couple of days as the actors took to their personal accounts to share a glimpse of their characters. Whether it’s the ‘enchanting’ ‘Bahaar Begum’ played by Madhuri Dixit or Dev Chaudhry’s ‘sprinting mind’ and ‘a noble heart’, a character played by Aditya Roy Kapoor - the film looks promising and has been creating a lot of buzz.
