1. Jab Harry Met Sejal Trailer Looks Like Every Bollywood Film Ever

The full trailer of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s film, Jab Harry Met Sejal is finally here. And it appears to have given away most of its plot points in it, plus all the mini trailers that released before this one.

It’s the same old story. Boy meets girl but he doesn’t want to settle down. They go on a journey together, spend a lot of time with each other and phir kya hua, Senorita? No prize for guessing this one.

Having misunderstood its job, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) takes it upon itself to “censor” films before its release.

After fighting a long battle with the board, Lipstick Under My Burkha has finally hit the screens on Friday. But the film did not make it without facing several cuts by the certification board.

Here’s the list of scenes that were chopped ahead of the film’s release.

4. Disco Disco: A Gentleman’s Party Song Is Just Perfect for Sangeets

Here’s your entertainment news wrap for the day.
Jacquline Fernandez and Sidharth Malhotra in a still from Disco Disco, the party number from A Gentleman.

These days it’s mandatory to have a “party song” if you have a big-budget, starry Bollywood mainstream film on your hands. I believe it’s one of those things aimed at catching the audience’s fancy (and of course ensure their arrival at the theatres). But wait. Here’s a quick one - which is the most recent “party song” you can remember off the top of your head right now?

Nada?

Anyway, so toeing well-toed traditions, the party number of the Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer A Gentleman is out. Composed by Sachin- Jigar and sung by Benny Dayal and Shirley Setia, Disco Disco is about as memorable as most of its predecessors. It’s an average song that even the beautiful leads, long legs, pelvic thrusts and flashy lights fail to salvage - though it’s sure to have its fair share of run in sangeet parties.

To  everyone’s surprise the film has come out unscathed.
