Shahid Kapoor has been shooting for upcoming film Kabir Singh, which is a Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. The film is directed by Sandeep Vanga and also stars Kiara Advani.
Shahid shared a glimpse of his look from the film with a photo from the sets which he posted to Instagram.
While Shahid has been seen sporting a beard and a slightly dishevelled appearance of late, this new clean-shaven look feels like a throwback to his early days as the quintessential chocolate boy.
In Kabir Singh, the actor will play a protagonist who is an alcoholic surgeon who goes on a self-destructive streak after the woman he loves is forced to marry another man. Speaking about his role in an interview with IANS, he said, "The character is very fascinating for me as an actor because the emotional arc is very original. I loved it and Vijay Deverakonda, who played Arjun, did it so well."
