All those who have been missing Punjabi rapper Honey Singh, there’s good news. He’s back in the game after two years, even as he grapples with bipolar disorder with this rip-roaring song from Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety called Dil Chori.
The way the song is choreographed will give you the ‘Badtameez Dil’ feels. Gear up to burn the dance floor with this party track.
The song is a reprised version of the 1990s hit number by Hans Raj Hans, Dil Chori Saada Ho Gaya. He told The Indian Express, “I am very happy to bring new songs for my fans. I have always appreciated Hans Raj Hans Ji’s work and it was great to remake his song into a Bhangra song with Hindi lyrics. Lots of love to all my fans who waited.”
“Nobody knows this, and I wanted to tell the world myself, not through a spokesperson. The last 18 months were the darkest phase of my life, and I wasn’t in a state to talk to anyone.”Honey Singh had said in an interview last year.
“I know there were rumours that I was in rehab, but I was in my Noida house throughout. Truth is, I was suffering from bipolar disorder. It went on for 18 months, during which I changed four doctors, the medication wasn’t working and crazy things were happening.”
His absence was shrouded in speculation after he reportedly got into a brawl with Shah Rukh Khan, with rumours rife of him being in rehab.
