The official trailer of Shweta Tripathi’s latest film Gone Kesh is out and despite having a sensitive issue at its core, the film promises to incorporate all the elements of an entertainer. Shweta plays the role of a teenager suffering from Alopecia, a disease that causes rapid hairfall.

The trailer begins at a clinic, with the doctor asking Shweta aka Enakshi’s parents since when her hair had started falling. He terms the condition as a ‘common disease’ and calcium deficiency, advising her to have milk and eggs regularly. Amidst meetings with prospective grooms and Enakshi’s dreams of becoming a dancer, tragedy strikes. Her hair begins falling at such a rapid pace that she turns completely bald.

Hailing from a simple middle-class family, Enakshi breaks down. But her friends and family come to her support and encourage her to go up on stage and dance. Thus begins an inspiring story of overcoming odds in life. A beautiful love story also blooms in the film.

The film is directed by Qasim Khallow and is scheduled to hit theatres on March 29. Vipin Sharma and Deepika Amin play Shweta’s parents while TVF fame Jeetu essays the role of her lover.

Shweta was recently seen in the web series Mirzapur. She has Cargo in the pipeline where she is likely to play an astronaut.
