The two-month schedule of the cop comedy Simmba has been rolling in Hyderabad at Ramoji Film City. Karan Johar took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share actor Ranveer Singh's look from the sets of the film. The actor is certainly acing the cop look with a machismo that only he could bring to the character. Have a look:
Ajay Devgn is reportedly set to make a special appearance in the Ranveer Singh-starrer that will mark the imminent Singham-Simmba crossover franchise. A first for Bollywood!
Simmba is the official remake of the Jr NTR and Kajal Agarwal starrer, Temper. The film also stars Sara Ali Khan. Bankrolled by Dharma Productions, the film is directed by Rohit Shetty. A video posted by Karan Johar seems to confirm the buzz and comes as an announcement of sorts. So Ranveer, is set to take your class if you give him ‘traas’.
Kjo also posted a picture of the lead pair Ranveer and Sara Ali Khan with Rohit Shetty. After wrapping up Gully Boy in April, Ranveer is geared up to take on the role of the whacky cop with a beefed up physique. His new avatar as Singham sees him sporting Sangram Bhalerao’s handlebar moustache.
