After Bhaiaji Superhit, Arshad Warsi will be seen in another caper in the New Year titled Fraud Saiyaan. In the film, Arshad plays the ironically named Bhola Prasad Tripathi, a man from Lucknow who fraudulently marries several different women, seemingly for money.
The film has been produced by Disha Prakash Jha and Kanishk Gangwal and also stars Saurabh Shukla and Sara Loren. It is set to release on 18 January.

Meanwhile, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, the film’s writer and director Sourabh Shrivastava has chosen to disassociate himself from the film citing creative differences. The publication quoted him as saying, “The production house got in touch with me a few days ago saying the film was ready for release. I requested the producer over text message to please remove my name from the credits. The edit is not mine, the background music was not approved by me, there are so many issues since I was side-lined from it.”
In response the producers claimed, “We have no idea why he wants to dissociate himself from his own hard work.”
