Cricket and films are celebrated in India, and both have their steady fan bases. But we are yet to see which direction the wind will blow when Salman Khan’s Bharatwill clash with India’s World Cup match with South Africa on 5 June.

Also, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have seemed to have captured the cricket matches too. Ahead of the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) final on 12 May, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will host the pre-match show Cricket Live, mid-dayreported.

However, it seems that Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday could not pass the Twitter exam. The initial shows of the film might have been over, but it’s just the beginning for the social media platform.

Since both Kalank and Student of the Year 2 have been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Twitter kept comparing the fate of the two films. They even termed SOTY 2 as a Kalank. The only saving grace is Alia Bhatt and Will Smith’s special appearance, it seems. However, some praised Ananya Panday’s performance.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for extravagant sets, grand costumes on the big screen. After the success of Padmaavat, he is apparently set to take a plunge into the digital space, peepingmoon.com reported.

His project Heera Mandi, which was conceived as a film, is reportedly going to be turned into a web series. However, unlike Karan Johar who has launched Dharmatic Entertainment under Dharma Productions to create content for Netflix and Amazon Prime, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will not have a separate division.

3. De De Pyaar De: Ajay Flirts With Rakul in ‘Mukhda Vekh Ke’ Song

The makers of upcoming Ajay Devgn and Tabu-starrer De De Pyaar De have dropped a new song from the film. Mukhda Vekh Ke is the typical dance number, with peppy tunes and flashy clothes.

5. Priyanka to Shoot ‘The Sky Is Pink’ Song in Mumbai Next Month

Priyanka Chopra will be back in India next month to shoot a song for her upcoming Hindi film The Sky is Pink in Mumbai, according to reports. Farhan Akhtar who plays Priyanka’s husband and Zaira Waseem who plays her daughter in the film will also join her for the song. Of course, PeeCee is expected to attend the Cannes Film Festival before then.

The song is expected to be a fun number that will appear in the middle of the film and is crucial to the narrative, a source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror.
