5. ‘Phamous’ Trailer: Chasing Power, Guns & a Distinct ’80s Feel

Chambal seems to be making a comeback to Bollywood. Before Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sonchiriya comes Phamous, telling the tale of four passionate men who grapple with each other against the dramatic terrains of Chambal.

Phamous, with a stellar cast of Jimmy Sheirgill, Kay Kay, Pankaj Tripathi, Jackie Shroff, Shriya Saran and Mahie Gill, has a distinct 80s feel. The four men are consumed by different pursuits - power, love, lust and revenge, the just-released trailer tells us. The result? A lot of guns going off along with some punchlines.

Sheirgill and Tripathi are easily the showstealers - Tripathi’s sleazy politician shines and how - while Kay Kay does look a little OTT.
