The first song of Sonam-Anil Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao-starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is out and it’s the title track rendition of the RD Burman classic from 1942: A Love Story.
Penned by Gurpreet Saini, composed by Rochak Kohli and sung by Darshan Raval and Rochak Kohli, the title track actually takes off from the lovely original to create a melodious, moving number. Shot around Sonam and Rajkummar’s growing friendship, “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga” tells the tale of the heart discovering someone special.
This rendition is a big relief, going by how most remixes of evergreen numbers turn out to be.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar and will be releasing on 1 February. It brings together Anil with daughter Sonam on screen for the first time, and also stars Juhi Chawla.
