The makers of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga have released a new trailer for the film just a few days before the film comes out. Take a look.
The Shelly Chopra Dhar-directed film will be releasing on 1 February 2019, and brings together Anil with daughter Sonam on screen for the first time. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla.
The trailer revolves around a typical Punjabi “happy” family with everyone trying hard to marry Sweety (Sonam) off. While she has no dearth of suitors, the trailer hints at a mystery which is at the heart of the syaapa in the path of true love, as Sonam’s character puts it. While Rajkummar is always a delight to watch, it’s Anil Kapoor who steals the show here with his straight-to-the-heart emotive range. Juhi Chawla adds a comic touch as well.

Earlier, the makers had released a teaser and a couple of character posters for the film.
The first few seconds of the Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga trailer could fool you into believing that it is a sweet love story as you see Anil Kapoor and the song from ‘1942: A Love Story’ play out. The teaser soon fast-forwards to 2018 to tell the tale of a syaapa love story, presumably, Sonam Kapoor’s. The first look of the movie boasts of a family drama set in Punjab, punctuated with highs and lows.
