Betty Kapadia, mother of Bollywood actor Dimple Kapadia, passed away late night on Saturday, 30 November. She had been admitted to the ICU at the Hinduja hospital in Khar, Mumbai, for several days after being diagnosed with respiratory problems. As per PTI reports, Betty had been in the hospital for over 20 days.
Earlier on 30 November, Dimple’s daughter Twinkle and son-in-law Akshay Kumar were spotted outside the hospital.
Betty’s grandson Karan Kapadia was also spotted heading out of the hospital.
Betty Kapadia was recently seen with her entire family at her 80th birthday celebrations in Shilim, Pune. Twinkle had shared pictures from the birthday on her Instagram account.
Betty was married to Gujarati entrepreneur Chunnibhai Kapadia, and together they had four children, including the Dimple, her late sister, Simple Kapadia, another sister, Reema and a brother, Munna.
