According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Deepika had to back out of the coveted project because of dates already committed to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati with rumored beau, Ranveer Singh.

4. Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt Win ‘Maharashtrian Of the Year’ Awards
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt won big at the Maharashtrian of the Year awards held by Lokmat in Mumbai. Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who is currently working with Ranbir on the Sanjay Dutt biopic, accompanied Ranbir at the event.
According to news reports, Ranbir imitated Sanjay Dutt as he walked to the stage to receive his award. While Ranbir won the award for ‘Outstanding Entertainer of the Year’, Alia who looked stunning in a gold Indian outfit too picked up the same honour.

5. Dilip Kumar Receives Living Legend Lifetime Award, Tweets Pics
Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was presented with the Living Legend Lifetime Award by the Punjab Association on Tuesday. The legendary star, whose presence on social media is kept going via his Twitter handle @TheDilipKumar, first tweeted, “Mr. Ranbir Singh Chandok and Mr. Anand of the Punjab Association visited me today.”
He later tweeted, “God is kind. Humbled at receiving the Living Legend Lifetime Award from Punjab Association this afternoon.”
