The first couple of posters of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious period film Padmavati are out. The film’s main cast - Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor shared the first look of the film with their fans and followers on social media.
Deepika posted the first poster with the message: “Devi sthapana ke shubh avsar par miliye Rani Padmavati se”
Ranveer Singh who essays the role of Alauddin Khilji in the film posted the first look on his Instagram account by calling Deepika’s avatar as “Mallika-e-Chittor, Padmavati”.
Shahid Kapoor who plays the Raja of Chittor and is cast opposite Deepika in the Padmavati also posted the poster of Padmavati on his social media timeline with the message “Chittor ki Maharani, shaurya aur saundarya ka prateek. Rani Padmavati”.
Co-produced by Viacom 18 and Bhansali Productions, Padmavati releases worldwide on 1 December.
