Salman Khan Supports T-Series’ Bid to Become No.1 On YouTube

Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Varun Dhawan have now joined the ongoing war between T-Series and Swedish gamer PewDiePie to become the most subscribed channel on YouTube. These stars are now backing T-Series to make it the number one channel on YouTube by tweeting their support.

Founded by Gulshan Kumar, the huge growth of T-Series as been under the guidance of Bhushan Kumar who stepped in to oversee the business ever since he was 17. While Gulshan Kumar had carved a space in the music industry in the era of cassettes, it was Bhushan Kumar who started the digital movement and invested heavily in making T-series a leader in the business by also becoming a film producer to reckon with.

A statement by T-Series says that it’s time to showcase the rich diversity of content by India and that “we hail from a heritage of rich mythology, giving us scope to explore innumerable stories. With no lesser than 33 crores of spiritual deities, India is home to the biggest stories making apt content for the generations. India as emerged as the software king. With technical backing, the content production in India has been reaching new heights.”

Singers and actors like Yo Yo Honey Singh and Anil Kapoor also tweeted their support to making T-Series the number one YouTube channel.
