The trailer of Bhoomi, Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film, is out and it’s all his fans have been waiting for. Revolving around a father’s fight to get justice for his daughter - played by Aditi Rao Hydari - Bhoomi seems to be an old school revenge drama bolstered by the twin pillars of emotion and action.
The film is set in the gullies of Agra, and considerable portion of the trailer goes in establishing the close relationship of the father and daughter. Tragedy strikes with the advent of the bad guy, played by Sharad Kelkar.
It’s good to see Sanjay Dutt back on screen after his 2014 stint in PK. And by the look of it, he seems to have channelled a lot of love and anger into his role as a father who cares for his daughter more than anything else in the world. Aditi Rao Hydari seems to have turned out a sensitive performance as well.

Ranbir Kapoor, who would be playing Dutt in an upcoming biopic on the actor’s life, released the trailer.
Directed by Omung Kumar, Bhoomi is set to release on 22 September.
