Ayushmann Khurrana has not shied away from portraying unconventional, non-macho characters on screen - while he played a man grappling with erectile dysfunction in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, he essayed the role of a sperm donor in Vicky Donor. He continues his streak of dispelling taboos around uncomfortable topics with Badhaai Ho, where he stars opposite the Dangal girl Sanya Malhotra. His character finds out that his mother is pregnant at 50 and all this right at the time when he is set to propose to his girlfriend Renee aka Sanya.
