‘Main Deewana Tera’ is Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Ladki Patane Wala Gana’

The first song from Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon-starrer Arjun Patiala, ‘Main Deewana Tera’ is out and its sung by Guru Randhawa.

The dance track features Diljit flirting with Kriti and singing her praises, as his buddy Varun Sharma gives him company on the dance floor. The song opens with the lines Gore Gore Mukhde Pe Kala Kala Til - the lyrics written by Guru obviously lack novelty.

Good thing is composer duo Sachin-Jigar’s tune is catchy, Guru’s in good form vocally and Diljit brings his natural charm.

The makers promote the fact that instead of bringing out another remix, they made the effort to release an original party number. “Original ladki patane wala gana,” announces the narrator, before the song begins.

Arjun Patiala is a quirky comedy with Diljit playing a small town cop and Kriti playing a crime journalist.

Directed by Rohit Jugraj, the film will release in theatres on 26 July, the same day as Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya.
